Kevin Shattenkirk came through at a crucial moment for the Washington Capitals Monday with the Game Three-winner in overtime for his first goal of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Shattenkirk was swarmed by his teammates after scoring the clutch goal game-winner which fended off a third-period rally by the Pittsburgh Penguins for a 3-2 victory. The goal was the first of his career in playoff overtime.

The win cut the Penguins' series lead in half to 2-1, while improving the Capitals to 4-2 in overtime this postseason.

The puck drops on Game Four of the Second Round series at PPG Paints Arena Wednesday.
