In a 7-3 victory for the Boston Bruins in their Game 2 against the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday night, the winger exploded for six points (3-3–6) to make NHL history as the youngest player to do so in a Stanley Cup Playoffs game.

With a hat trick of goals and assists, Pastrnak also matched the NHL record for most points by a player in the opening two games – a mark set with nine points by former Boston Bruin Phil Esposito in a series (also against Toronto) in 1969.
