Matt Moulson knows the value of a good education in both becoming a better professional hockey player and overall better person.

Matt Moulson has been a leader on the New York Islanders the past three seasons steadily contributing on offensive with 30, 31, and 36 goals in his first three seasons on the Island. Not bad for being drafted 263rd overall!

Moulson is one of a growing number of players who got their hockey grooming in the NCAA, playing four seasons for the Cornell University Big Red men’s ice hockey team.

In University Moulson learned the value of time management and becoming a well-rounded person through a balanced effort focusing on the books and on the ice.
