With the season not kicking off until late January due to the owners' lockout, all 30 teams are playing a compressed 48-game regular season schedule this season, prior to the Stanley Cup playoffs.

NHLPA.com asked players from both the Leafs and the Penguins about the compressed schedule, how it is affecting them individually, as well as how it impacts the approach of the team overall.
