On his way home from a restaurant in Westmount, QC, on Sunday evening, P.K. Subban noticed a group of young kids playing a game of road hockey. He decided to jump out of his SUV and surprise the neighbourhood by joining them for a quick game.
Eight-year-old Jack Fraser, who was suited up as a goalie, describes the unforgettable moment as “awesome,” and “cool,” after getting the opportunity to defend the net against an NHL player. Fraser even managed to stop a handful of Subban’s slapshots.
After the game wrapped-up, P.K. stayed for a few extra minutes to pose for photos with all the neighbourhood hockey fans in attendance.
