'SKY' IS THE LIMIT FOR CARTER
Jeff Carter always listened to his father. So, as a young boy learning the game, when his dad told him to shoot the puck, Jeff obliged. So far in 2008-09, Jeff has once again been following his father’s sage advice and making his dad proud. The London, Ontario native is leading the NHL in scoring and along with his ‘Philly Sky Line’ linemates, helping to lead the Flyers to one of the better records in the Eastern Conference. Carter is on pace for a career season and is having a blast doing it.

Once again this year, Ty Conklin will be the envy of many around the league as he suits up at Wrigley Field for the Red Wings. Ty has been a part of all three of the outdoor games held by the NHL, something no other NHLPA member can claim. The Red Wings are hoping that Ty can use his experience to help them to glory on New Year’s Day.
