Tylenol® and the National Hockey League Players’ Association announce Canadian partnership

TORONTO, ON (May 12, 2025) The National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) announced today that Tylenol®, a Kenvue brand, has been named the Official Pain, Cold & Flu Symptom Relief partner of the NHLPA.

The partnership entered into with Kenvue Canada Inc., helps bring to life Tylenol’s® latest campaign, “Pain Relief MVP”, which will initially center around National Hockey League® (NHL) superstars Leon Draisaitl (Edmonton Oilers®) and Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado Avalanche®). Draisaitl and MacKinnon, two former Most Valuable Players (MVPs) and Hart Memorial Trophy winners, will be featured in-store, online, and during the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs® broadcasts.

Tylenol® will build on momentum from their recent, award-winning “Score Against Pain” NHL® campaign, and through their partnership with the NHLPA, Tylenol® will now have the ability to leverage NHLPA members in their marketing creative. This will include players who resonate with Canadian consumers and hockey fans starting with this season’s only 50-goal scorer, Draisaitl, who has been playing hockey across western provinces since 2012, and MacKinnon, a Nova Scotia native and the recent 4 Nations Face-Off™’s Most Valuable Player.

“We are thrilled to have players like Leon Draisaitl and Nathan MacKinnon partner with us to drive further awareness of Tylenol® as the Pain Relief MVP that you can count on, when you need it most, said Kerry Bullock, Director, Tylenol® Kenvue Canada Inc. “Our partnership with the NHLPA is an incredible way for us to continue our momentum and evolve our ongoing partnership with the NHL® and we look forward to growing and enhancing our marketing campaigns with the NHLPA.”

“After working closely with Tylenol during the 4 Nations Face-Off with tremendous results, we are very pleased to formally announce a multi-year Canadian partnership with Tylenol,” said Devin Smith, NHLPA Senior Director, Sponsorship & Player Marketing. “This new campaign that features Leon (Draisaitl) and Nathan (MacKinnon) will certainly capture the attention of Canadian consumers, and we look forward to integrating more players into Tylenol campaigns going forward.”

Hockey fans across Canada can find a variety of Pain Relief MVP content on Tylenol® Canada and NHLPA social media platforms. Additional content featuring Draisaitl and MacKinnon, both past recipients of the Ted Lindsay Award, presented annually to the most outstanding player as voted by NHLPA members, will be shared next season, plus other NHL® stars to be announced for the 2025-2026 NHL season.
