TORONTO, Ontario (April 24, 2024)  Walt Disney Studios Canada, the National Hockey League (NHL) and National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) have come together during the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs to promote the highly anticipated release of Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” during the most exciting Playoffs in sports. This unprecedented collaboration in Canada launched with a unique brand-new TV spot today.

To celebrate the film’s release in theatres on June 14, this first-of-its-kind collaboration with the NHL and NHLPA includes a custom, player-integrated :30 second co-branded TV spot featuring the Emotions: Joy, Anger, Anxiety and Embarrassment. Also bringing the film to life during 2024 Stanley Cup Playoff games are Digitally Enhanced Dasherboards, the NHL’s advanced approach to dynamic dasherboard advertising, which highlight the full range of Emotions, and will be showcased on nationally televised Canadian Playoff game broadcasts throughout the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs in Canada.
