NHL, NHLPA modify COVID-19 Protocols for Stanley Cup Playoffs and offseason
NHL, NHLPA have announced modifications to COVID-19 protocols for the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs and offseason.
NEW YORK/TORONTO (May 8, 2021) – The National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players’ Association today announced several modifications to their COVID-19 Protocols to take effect upon the conclusion of each Club’s regular-season schedule.
All modifications – specifically designed to govern the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs and offseason activities in advance of the 2021-22 Regular Season -- have been agreed upon by the League’s and the NHLPA’s medical advisors after extensive consultation with medical experts in both the United States and Canada.
