Leon Draisaitl helped propel the Edmonton Oilers to a 7-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks Sunday with a five-point night to force a Game 7 in their Western Conference series.
Draisaitl (3-2—5) entered Game 6 with three Stanley Cup Playoff goals to his name - and ended it with his first NHL career hat trick while also setting an impressive career-best for goals and points in a game so far his young career.
The German-born forward has scored 13 points in the Second Round series so far, and 16 points overall in the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs. With Sunday's performance, he has scored at least one point in his last four games.
Draisaitl's five-point night saw him become the third Oilers player to score a postseason hat trick in the past 25 years (Doug Weight and Bill Guerin in 2000).
