Patric Hornqvist, once a member of the Nashville Predators, scored the game-winning goal late in Game 6 on Sunday night that lifted the Pittsburgh Penguins to back-to-back Stanley Cup championships.

With 1:35 remaining in the third period, Hornqvist scored to give the Penguins the lead and added a sense of drama to a tightly played and otherwise scoreless game to that point. Hornqvist, selected by Nashville with the very last pick in the entire 2005 NHL Entry Draft, was traded to the Penguins for James Neal on June 27, 2014.

"Yeah, for sure," Hornqvist told reporters after Sunday night's game . "This is where I've been playing most of my games and to win it and score that goal here, it couldn't end any better for me."

Even more astounding is that of the Penguins' five Stanley Cup victories, all of them have come in the home of the opposition, and they are undefeated with a 5-0 record in championship-clinching games on the road. According to Elias Sports Bureau, no other NHL, NBA or MLB team has achieved this feat.
